Producer: Estimating to boards or budget, bidding, scheduling, casting, negotiating production contracts, talent payments, post scheduling, post- production, follow-up and actualizing budgets.
Directing: Film, video, still photography, voice over narration and on-screen talent.
Photography: Film (16 & 35mm) and video (all formats), 35mm through 8X10 still camera. Lighting; still and motion including strobe and incandescent.
Sound production: Multi-track recording/production techniques, editing narration and music, including use of Digidesign Pro Tools. Direction of soundtrack scoring; both library and original music.
Editing: Fully proficient with Apple Final Cut Studio, and most currently Premier Pro CS6 and all of the Creative Suite Applications. Color Grading with SpeedGrade and Apple Color.
Graphics: Proficient in After Effects and all of the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Encore.
Presentation: Large screen video design and production. Keynote and Powerpoint authoring, DVD authoring, specialty iPad app authoring for one-off apps.
Special Projects: iPad Authoring: Utilizing an existing app, created a stand-alone interactive sales tool for the iPad that combines a clients existing slide presentation, PDF’s and video into an interactive presentation for the iPad. Can be used for one-on-one sales as well as on trade show floors.
Editor: Restored and edited for commercial video release, “5 Summer Stories”by MacGillivray-Freeman Films, a classic 90 min. surfing documentary originally produced in 1972. Involved overseeing the cleaning and re-transferring original negatives, re-conforming to original version, and digitally re-recording and re-mastering the soundtrack.
Web Design: Designed and created web sites for my own company MidCenturyAudio.com and MSCommunications (cajcom.com), WestCoastProjections.com, as well as specialty pages for Ralphs Grocery Company and Thifty-PayLess, Inc.
